The Latitude team Spent the day wrapping up the entire God Sequence which plays out throughout the entire film. This day was set up in one location hired through Coventry University, the room was set up and filmed as if was based around a large corporate presentation, of course this will become clear through the story as it unveils on screen. Once set up once and correctly lit the team was ready to go, it took from 9:00AM until 11:00AM to set up. Shooting commenced from 11:00AM through the day until 6:00PM with a lunch and slight set change. A fantastic shoot with some brilliant acting captured with a dynamic combination of lights and camera work, below is a short time lapse of the morning set up.

The latitude team wrapped up the inner city and camera shop scenes today! This included the Scene where our main character Max grabs his regular latte from his favourite coffee shop, the Deli. The Deli, our fantastic sponsor, allowed great hospitality and a lovely location for our film! After finishing for the day around 18:00 Jake, Suzii,Rich and James collected the Giant Wheel Of Death, this is a prop for Percy’s dream sequence… Richard, Jake and Suzii ended up with an eventful evening spent in the studio, full of misfortunate accidents and what felt like a Giant Art Attack. Mounting and manoeuvring the giant print, sized 105CM wide of Matte paper, mounted onto the 4×4 circular drum made out of MDF. This was an extensive hour or two creating shaping and sticking the print to wood, working out the best shape and how stick it to the wood, after sticking the majority of the print jake managed to slice his finger and knuckle open by cutting open a tube of No More Nails. Ironically whilst cutting the tube the team joked about ‘No more fingers’ or ‘No More wheel’ and low and behold Jake, being as clumsy as he is, sliced his finger open.

Today was one of the biggest days for the Latitude team, the cast and crew all set to go after a brilliant evening spent with local cuisine. Casting call was 9:00AM and the crew to be on set at 7:00AM, this was a crucial day in regards to scenes, story and props. The woodland scene was a main chunk of the england shoot baring in mind we had a full week of shooting, 15 hours days for the crew it was a tough time but all worth it, capturing beauty in every shot. This was day two of the england half and we still had a fair amount to capture and travel in terms of locations, below is a Time Lapse of our set up and scene changes for the first segment of the Woodland scene.

First day of filming for the Latitude crew With an Early start of 7:30AM collecting crew and props in order to build and replicate Max’s bedroom, Max being an apple fan boy and a minimalist following in the footsteps of his all time Hero he lives in a simple but stylish room. The video below shows the building of the set and camera set ups throughout the morning of the 15th before the talent arrived, being the first day of the shoot the set was assembled and cameras ready to go before we hit 11:00AM. This gave a great deal of time to work out all the small things, camera movements and the ability to play through and block out the scene. With the actors arriving at 12:30 to 1:00PM we then had time to prepare and get the actors mic’ed up for the shoot to commence around 2:00.

Whilst in San Francisco, awake at 4:30am to capture the stunning sunrise over the city and Golden Gate Bridge.

We’ve got some we really like but its going to be hard narrowing it down, got our work cut out for us over the next few days.
